**The total cost of educating an LCA student is $7,200 per year. LCA is providing an opportunity for parents who are able financially to voluntarily give a charitable contribution in a systematic way to make up the difference between tuition and the cost of education your child. If you would like to participate, simply choose an amount and enter that amount in Column B, "Adopt a Student/Gift" on the Financial Contract. That amount in Column B is considered a charitable gift and you will receive a charitable contribution receipt at the end of the calendar year. This is a voluntary contribution and will not affect admission decisions.

NOTE: Full tuition is for students who take 6 or more classes.
$800 per class is for students taking 1 to 5 classes.

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available to families who qualify.  As a service, the LCA Board grants financial aid to LCA families. The Board determines the amount of financial aid that will be granted during the budgeting process. The money granted in financial aid is raised through gifts to the general fund.

If you have children enrolling at Warsaw Christian School and Lakeland Christian Academy you only need to fill out one form at TADS for both schools.

To apply for financial aid, go online to:
Tuitionaid.com
Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) LCA ID: 14011    WCS ID: 14012

This service assists schools in assessing a family's financial need and helps to maintain third party confidentiality.  The cost to apply is $34.00.

The amount of tuition assistance granted to a family is determined by the following factors:
   1.   Application meets the submission date deadline of April 29th for current families. (New families may apply any time.
   2.   The number of families that apply.
   3.   Students must be classified as full time.
      * Financial assistance is for tuition only- additional fees do not apply.

NEW POLICY

The amount of financial aid available will be determined by the LCA Board in May, 2011. Late applications will jeopardize awarding of assistance, or result in a substantial reduction in tuition assistance. Parents may appeal to the Financial Aid committee by letter if there are extenuating financial circumstances to be considered.

Applicants for financial assistance are considered without regard to race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin.
