ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES

Tuition and Fees Tuition may be paid annually or semi-annually. Full time students enrolled in LCA Online for the school year may also pay on a monthly installment basis as specified below. A $10 per month handling charge will be added to the monthly payment options, unless the tuition is paid monthly by electronic funds transfer. (Those wanting the 12-month payment plan must notify the finance office by May 1.) All summer and part time online students must pay in full before participation in the online program. NOTE: WE NOW TAKE VISA OR MASTER CARD Tuition - Full tuition is for students who take 6 or more classes. 1st Child............$5,500 2nd Child..........$5,300 3rd & up Child..$5,100 1 to 5 classes.....$800 per class Full time classification: Students are classified as full time with 6 or more classes (Either full time on site, full time online, or any combination of classes to equal 6.) A student receiving an LCA Online diploma must be full time their senior year and meet all of LCA's graduation requirements. A student must be designated as full time for certain programs, activities and for graduation. Additional enrollment forms will be required of full time LCA Online students. Cost of classes for On-site Student: A full time, on-site LCA student may take classes online as well. Students must take the classes on site either in the Media Center Annex or in the computer lab. AP Classes: $470 plus $20 registration fee - May also require book purchase High School Courses: $470 plus $20 registration fee $380 plus $20 registration fee - for LCA scheduling conflicts. Must be preapproved. Dual Credit Courses: $570 plus $20 registration fee - Additional forms and books required LCA Participation Fee A full time LCA Online student may participate in LCA activities for a participation fee of $500/year. This fee will allow the student to participate on sports teams, free admission to all LCA events. A full time online student is able to participate in band, choir, art, and school plays. A full time online student may also walk at LCA's graduation. Financial Assistance Financial assistance is available to families who qualify. The Board determines the amount of financial aid that will be granted during the budgeting process. The money granted in financial aid is supported and must be raised through gifts to the general fund. The amount of tuition assistance granted to a family is determined by the following factors: 1. Application meets the submission date deadline for current families. 2. The number of online families that apply. 3. Students must be classified as full time (6 periods). * Financial assistance is for tuition only- additional fees do not apply. Late applications will jeopardize awarding of assistance. Applicants for financial assistance are considered without regard to race, color, sex, national or ethnic origin. Families have the option of choosing between two agencies to submit their financial information. These agencies assist schools in assessing a family's financial need and help to maintain third party confidentiality. A family may use either one of these companies. If you have children enrolling at Warsaw Christian School and Lakeland Christian Academy you only need to fill out one form at either company for both schools. If a family disagrees with the determination of either company, they may apply to the other company for verification. After the determinations of both companies have been received, parents may appeal to the Financial Aid committee by letter if there are extenuating financial circumstances to be considered.
