LCA’s science department offers students unique opportunities to dive deep into the various studies of science while maintaining a strong integration of biblical worldview. Students thrive with extensive inquiry-based instruction and 21st-century technological training all with a hands-on learning approach.  This technological training culminates in learning how to code designs with a 3D printer in the classroom.

The science department boasts an impressive 13:1 student to teacher ratio.  This allows for more guidance and interaction during labs, quicker feedback on assignments, and more freedom to ask questions during class.  This small student to teacher ratio has allowed our students to succeed in state testing, exceeding the state average pass rate.

The curriculum engages the secular science standards while training students to think critically about the secular worldview and its shortcomings when measured against the Biblical account. Students are challenged to think critically about how science reflects God’s image and creation.
