LCA Building Campaign
Our world is challenging for people of all ages— especially young people. As Christians, we are called to nurture young people to live a fully engaged life, grounded by critical thinking and a deep faith that guides their learning, career, family, friends, and future. This is the mission that was established by our founders in 1974 when they saw a need for a Christian high school in our community. 50 years later, we are even more emboldened to accomplish this mission. Young people are our “why”. Our graduates are essential to making our world a better place—and the world needs them.
Since LCA and Warsaw Christian Schools (WCS) merged in 2020, it has been our plan to move all of our students onto one campus. With the support of our generous donors and local partners, we have achieved our goal of constructing a new facility for our Early Learning Academy and Elementary School (K-3)! Opening in August of 2026, we will welcome our youngest learners to begin their educational journey within the walls of this building.
The Building is Up, But We Aren’t Done!
This facility marks the beginning of an exciting time at LCA. While our goal on paper seemed to be focused on steel beams, drywall, and paint, this building represents so much more.
It represents God’s faithfulness and timing in a project that seemed daunting at times. It represents the generosity of our donors and local organizations that believe in Christian education. It represents the young minds that will be shaped and shown the love of Christ. It represents a half-century legacy and a starting line for those who will continue it.
Our dream of having all students on one campus has been accomplished and the impact of it will be felt for generations. Without the support of those who believe in LCA, this would not have been possible. While we reached our initial fundraising goal, we aren’t quite done yet!
This project’s total cost was around $8.5 million and our fundraising goal was to raise $4 million and take out a mortgage on the remainder. While still prepared to do so, any additional funds raised will help us pay off the mortgage sooner and allow us to continue to improve other areas of the school. Our ambitious goal is to eliminate our mortgage before the first payment is due in 2028.

Construction Progress
DJ Construction has worked relentlessly to ensure this building is finished for the 2026 first day of school! Since breaking ground in May of 2025, this building has been covered in prayer. Almost weekly, groups of parents, students, faculty, board members, and community supporters have gathered to pray over this project, the people working on it, and the hearts that will be impacted by it.
